Adorria has a strong bachata background, having trained for many years with various Chicago dance companies, including her current team, Her Majesty, where she continues to build upon her solid technical foundation. She has since stepped into teaching, leading her own Bachata Ladies Styling classes under the EnClave umbrella.

Now in her second year of instruction, Adorria continues to grow as both a solo and partnered dancer while sharing her knowledge, passion, and love for bachata with others.

Amorita is formally trained in salsa and bachata techniques, is a former bachata team director and currently focuses on Heels & Floorplay instruction for EnClave Dance. She recently received second place at Montreal Heels Festival’s annual team competition as a member of “Divas” by JDiva. Amorita specializes in “Floorplay” and is excited to share her knowledge, style, and technique with the community of Urbana for the second year in a row! 

Anne Watson is an Indiana-based dancer, 

performer, and bachata instructor with a 

foundation in both classical and Latin dance. 

While she has been active in the Latin dance 

community for the past two years, her dance 

journey began in childhood with extensive 

training in ballet, jazz, tap, and modern.

Anne trained throughout her youth with the 

Indianapolis School of Ballet and the 

Metropolitan Youth Ballet of Indiana, pursuing a 

professional ballet career before stepping away 

from dance for seven years. A chance invitation 

to a local Latin dance social reignited her 

passion and introduced her to the world of salsa 

and bachata.

Since returning to dance, Anne has dedicated 

herself to continuous training, social dancing, 

and performance, progressing quickly from 

student to assistant instructor, lead instructor, 

and private coach. She has taught group 

classes, assisted with instruction, and provided 

private lessons to dancers of all levels.

Anne has worked with Latin Expressions Dance 

Company, performing with their student 

performance team, Puro Tumbao, and has also 

taught beginner salsa and bachata at Jazz 

Kitchen. She is currently a member of Sensual 

Movement Chicago and regularly teaches 

alongside Alex Sanchez at Sensual Bachata 

Academy in Chicago.

confidence both on and off the dance floor, Anne 

strives to create a welcoming learning 

environment while emphasizing strong 

technique, musicality, connection, and the joy of 

social dancing

Bianca and Mando are Latin dance instructors, choreographers, and performers based out of Indianapolis with nearly a decade of training and teaching in a studio setting. Mando is the founder of Indy’s premier Mambo team, Mambo Magic, as well as the associate director of Latin Expressions Dance Company. Bianca is the co-director and co-choreographer of Mambo Magic, and she is a company dancer for Seda Negra, an afro-contemporary professional dance company. Together, they bring extensive experience in Salsa, Bachata, and other Latin dance styles.

Bianca and Mando fuse their individual styles to teach classes that focus on technique, connection, and growth for dancers of all levels and learning styles. They bring their passion for dance to communities throughout the Midwest through workshops, performances, and social dancing.

Spencer started dancing at Urbana Dance Company in 2020. In 2021, he began learning continuously from multiple instructors in the Chicago area. Building these connections is what started Latin dance instructors visiting to teach at Urbana Dance Company, including this event. Starting in 2022, he taught Latin dance at Illinois State University for three semesters and started teaching at Urbana Dance Company. He has studied and taught bachata, salsa, and cumbia. Over the last couple of years, he has focused on learning sensual bachata. He has eagerly been sharing what he has learned with the local community by teaching and inviting his instructors to come teach for weekend events. He is looking forward to continue doing so at this event!
